DUKE #1.5 Coil Spring Foot Trap
September 19, 2013
This trap is successfully in use for trapping skunks. It works much better than my old Victor 1.5 single spring trap.

The trap is made very well and works very well.

No major problems with this trap. Just had to reset the pan so the trap would set. All in all it is really good. If this years trapping season goes well for me will be buying at least a dozen more.

Duke #1.5 coil spring leg trap
October 5, 2010
This trap is just what it is advertised to be. I've had two small problems with it. The trip lock does not keep the trap fully open. Also, the hinge was too tight and didn't allow the trigger to release easily. The latter problem was fixed by simply loosening the hinge bolt.

Good Trap
February 16, 2010
I had a good set of Victor springers in the 70's. They served me well. Duke traps are every bit as good as my old Victor traps and better. Even the cost per trap is cheaper than they were in the 70's. Thats why I bought another dozen. JB

I love these traps got 5 of them for my hunting lease.

I set them out last weekend and the coons dug them up with out setting them off, I know it is not the trap itself. But how in the world do i set the tension on a Duke 1.5 coild srpring ????

#1.5 spring leg trap
March 21, 2008
it works great, i only had a coon get away from me once because i had set it in the water and when the moon came out i guess that the coon grabed the jaw instead or the plate. So after that i spray painted them.
