Heavy Duty Model is made of 14 Gauge wire that is strong enough a man can stand on it and it will not bend. Bait protected 1/2" Mesh. Welded Rod reinforced gravity door with locking rings. 1/4" Reinforced Rod Frame.
Easy release by just turning the trap completely over so door releases and animal can run out without you having to get to close to trap while the animal is inside. Epoxy Coated GREEN. Size: 30" x 12" x 12"

Trap works well!

Trap works well and you only have to flip it over to release the animals. One small issue is the coons chew the cage to try and get out, so very quickly the cage is rusting.

Best Live Animal Trap

This trap is the easiest live animal trap to set up but more importantly it is so simple to release the critter. All you have to do is turn the trap over on it top an the door falls right open an the animal runs off into its new home. Great trap. Five stars for sure.

This is the second one I bought. The first one was from another company. That trap was inefficient. This trap is sturdy, strong, and reliable. What goes in this trap doesn't get out. Great purchase for a good price!!

I had a problem with the neighbor feeding feral cats and having them rip through my garbage. Not anymore, thanks to the animal trap my neighbor now has a problem finding wild cats to feed.

Live trap really works

Works far better than the Hav-a-Heart . I took 12 raccoons in 10 nights, with zero escapes. The tip about fliipping it over to release was valuable. I found that a pine cone smeared with peanut butter made excellent bait.

This trap is very well made and should last a long time. The door will close tightly and not allow any escapes. I rated it a 4 because it does not have a rear release door.

Well, initial review of the traps received today are very sturdy. The individual welds seem sturdier than the Have a harts. On flaw I find is that you have to raise each individual ring by themselves to then raise the door. Anyone that's caught a raccoon before knows you don't want to have your hands that close and stand at that end to open the door to release. Solution, flip the trap over and it flops open. So there is a solution and it's actually easier than opening the other style for release. So far so good. Can't wait to try them out. We'll see if the armadillos ramming them can break 'em!
