The original Little Giant Poultry Founts have been used by poultry experts for years. These dependable waterers hook up to any standard 1/2 inch NPT Pipe to provide a limitless supply of clean water. Safely operates between 10-70 psi. Holds up to 1 1/2 quarts and waters up to 250 adult birds. Bowl measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches deep.

Assembly
Thread the valve assembly into the bowl (the valve assembly is completely assembled in its own bag) by turning it clockwise until it is firmly seated inside the bowl (there will no longer be any threads showing). Attach a garden hose to the valve assembly; an adapter (1/2 MIP to ¾ female hose- not included) will be needed to attach to the garden hose. NOTE: Make sure water is turned off during assembly of the garden hose to the valve assembly.

The 2500 Series Fountains operate on a gravity basis. **For proper operation, suspend plumb approximately 2-3 inches from the ground.

Valve Adjustment
The valve safely operates at water levels of 10-70 PSI. Although bowl water levels are automatically maintained and will remain constant with a properly adjusted valve, water levels may need to be adjusted. Turn the control tube cap counter clockwise to disconnect it from the post and remove the valve assembly. To increase the water level, move the control nut toward the spring. To decrease the water level, move the control nut away from the spring. When the desired water level is obtained, turn the lock nut against the control nut and tighten the lock nut with pliers. Reassemble the control tube cap onto the post by turning it clockwise. Reattach garden hose to valve assembly.

Cleaning
Disconnect the post at the control tube cap. (When the control tube cap is removed, spill or water loss will not occur).
