Product Description
Coil Spring Traps are manufactured of steel components and powered by a set of compact coil springs. Duke #1.75 Coil Spring Leg Trap is designed to trap bobcat, coyote, raccoon, fox, mink and nutra sized animals.

The Off Set Jaw is designed to reduce the injuries to the animals foot or leg. Off Set Jaw traps work well where there might be pets roaming around. This way if a non target animal is caught they can be release with little or no foot or pad damage. These jaws also allow for a continued circulation of blood flow to the foot so the animal doesn't feel numb and continued pulling at the trap. Jaw Spread 5.25”

Great trap

Exactly what I was hoping for. I got it because all of the great reviews for it and i don't regret it. Very strong trap, easy to set once you get the hang of it. You'd be very satisfied with this trap.

Works well, but rust easy. Definitely recommend getting the wax. And, watch out skunks get caught in it like any other critter, except they stink like hell, you can sort out the rest.

Duke 1.75 Trap
September 26, 2011
Works well, the only problem is that a skunk was more hungry for the marshmallow bait I used than the coons I am trying to catch. I will keep trying until I get those dang coons. Also make sure you wax it, or spray with WD-40 to keep it from rusting out.

AWESOME! Very strong trap, only caught a couple of opossums, but am confident that it will certainly do the job for even big dogs.

Leg trap

Needs longer chain, Needs to be oiled by the mfg, Hard to set on soft ground. Made in Korea. I would rather spend my money on products made in the USA. I would have paid twice the price for a US product.

#1.75 leg trap

it got the woodchuck that had made a den in our garden. i'd like to see a longer chain and a ring instead of what was supplier to tie the trap down. it did the job.

Coil Spring Offset Trap
May 19, 2010
Quick action and great holding power for such a small trap; used to catch nutria destroying our farm pond levees. Despite the tension these traps hold, the offset didn't cut the leg off, which prevented me from hunting trap-shy, 3-legged Nutria in a pond with too much cover to effectively hunt with simply a long gun. I highly recommend, along with the obvious "this is NOT a toy" disclaimer.
