Old Style still works

I've been using these since the 70's. They tend to work well but are kinda difficult to work with. They don't deteriorate from the sun like plastic does but if you're in an area with hard water it'll eat through in a few years or you'll have calcification making it hard to seal correctly. Also when they do break for good you can recycle them for a couple cents. I give 'em the same rating as the plastic ones in all reality. Great if you don't wanna run a hose everywhere or you need to separate a chicken for whatever reason.

Good waterer. but fouls easily .when you lift it to tilt out the dirty water, the vacuum sucks in the dirty water. Can't tell if water is low like you can with the Kuhl plastic waterer
