Wish I had bought one years ago, this has saved me time and trouble this cold winter. Great value and well worth the price.

I have several of these heaters and they are extremely reliable and efficient, essential during the cold months. The water is always drinkable even at the lowest temperatures, just make sure it is placed under a covered area protected from the snow. This product is perfect coupled with double wall metal founts.

One of the two units did not work at all. Depending on how the manufacturer handles the problem, further reviews are pending.

I got this with the 2 gallon double wall fount, as every morning I was having to change the water because it was frozen. I LOVE this thing. I'll be using it all this winter and then lovingly storing it till next year. One of the nicest things is that it doesn't heat the water all day, and the birds can't burn themselves, it just heat water that is getting below freezing, then it has an auto shut off. Really wonderful product, saves me time and energy in the morning and I don't have to worry that my girls don't have water. What clinched it for me was the days we have below 30, and the girls had no water all day, just ice to peck at. I felt terrible. So, no worry and no guilt. Love that!

I resist getting a warmer and wasn't sure I could justify the cost. It works great! Keeps 7 gallon fount from freezing and the birds do drink more plus you don't have the pile up at the drinker. We've had some below zero days and the water's still flowing.
