DRUG CLAIM:
For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker, feeder cattle and dairy and beef replacement heifers). For control of coccidiosis caused by Eimera bovis and Eimera zuernii in cattle up to 800 lbs.

Feeding Recommendations:
For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle: Thoroughly mix 500 lbs. of VMS® Kowpoke - 4 B1200 Mineral with 1,500 lbs. of non-medicated feed. Feed one pound of this medicated mixture to supply 150 mg lasalocid. Cattle should receive no less than 60 mg nor more than 300 mg lasalocid per head daily in at least 1 lb. of feed for the stated drug claim.

INDICATIONS FOR USE: Intake of lasalocid in excess of 200 mg/head/day have not been shown to be more effective than 200 mg/head/day.

For control of coccidiosis in cattle up to 800 lb.:
Thoroughly mix 500 lbs. of VMS® Kowpoke - 4 B1200 Mineral with 1,500 lbs. of non-medicated feed. Feed one pound of this medicated mixture to supply 150 mg lasalocid. Cattle weighing up to 800 lbs. should receive 1 mg lasalocid per 2.2 lb. (1 kg) of bodyweight per day with a maximum of 360 mg lasalocid per head daily for the stated drug claim.
Provide clean, fresh water to all animals at all times.

CAUTION: Use as directed. The safety of lasalocid in unapproved species has not been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Mix thoroughly with grain and/or roughage prior to feeding. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors may result in an excess lasalocid concentration that could be fatal to cattle and sheep. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg per head daily.

WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal. This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any species with a low tolerance to supplemental copper.
