I used these to prevent my toms from hurting each other. They worked so well that I put them on my turkey hens also. The nylon pins are easy to put in and take out(just cut off the barb on the end). And it is great that the peepers can be reused. Seemed to cause little to no pain to the birds and I haven't had an injury to a bird since I used them. Can't imagine NOT having them now. A great investment.
